Kings Cross/St Pancras is located just to the north of Central London whilst still being in zone 1 on the Underground, enabling the leisure and business traveller to get the most out of their stay in London. St Pancras International, for Eurostar is a five minute walk away. Kings Cross Underground and National Rail, which are even closer, provides easy access to the whole of London and further afield in the UK (not to mention Platform 9 3/4!!)
There are so many things to do in London, it's impossible to list them all! However a few attraction include Buckingham Palace, Big Ben and the Houses of Parliament, the vibrant Covent Garden and Trafalgar Square, and lets not forget all the fantastic London museums! Or how about trying to cross all 35 bridges that span the Thames in Greater London!
If your stay is for more literary or research purposes, we have the amazing British Library and Francis Crick Institute 5 minutes walk away.
Oxford Street and Regent Street, the main open air shopping streets of London are only three stops away on the Underground or a 15 minute bus journey. If the budget allows why not try Harrods and the designer shops around Knightsbridge and Kensington.
London has many great markets to wander around including Petticoat Lane, Portobello Road, the foodies paradise that is Borough Market, the visual feast of Columbia Flower Market and of course Camden Lock, which at only two stops on the Underground (or a 30 minute walk along the canal), is the closest to the Howard Winchester.
Great Ormond Street and the Portland Hospitals are also within easy reach.
It is very hard to get stuck for ideas of what to do in London, but if you do, our staff are on hand to offer advice and travel tips.
